According to a Kensington Palace spokesperson, Kate Middleton is in no immediate rush to return to her royal duties after her cancer diagnosis. This comes two months after the Princess of Wales announced to the world that she had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer. “The princess is not expected to return to work until it’s cleared by her medical team,” said the royal spokesperson in a statement to the BBC. However, Middleton recently made a soft return to work alongside Prince William by issuing her first project update since revealing her illness. The Princess of Wales worked alongside her husband in a Mental Health Awareness Week post. This post highlighted the psychological struggles young farmers are often faced with. Although Middleton does not personally appear in the clip, it was produced by both herself and Prince William. In the video message announcing that she was ill, Middleton revealed that she was in the early stages of preventative chemotherapy.
Kate Middleton is “not ready to return to work” despite making a brief return to social media this week to share a project she’s been working on.
Still, the Princess of Wales, 42, is “keeping an eye” on the impact her work has on young farmers who face psychological struggles, according to royal correspondent Cameron Walker.
The royal, who has remained largely out of the public eye following her cancer diagnosis, has reportedly been briefed on the report by the charity she’s been working with.
